Jr. Ranger program for youth.
The Jr. Ranger program encourages youth to explore natural and historical sites with self-guided activities. Participants complete the booklets to earn badges.
The current online version of the 308/319 (The National Historic Trails) guides families on the route between Casper and Independence Rock with special stops at Bessemer Bend, Willow Springs ( a Pony Express Station), Prospect Hill, and Avenue of Rocks along the way. A driving map with mileage is included for parent drivers.
The booklet was created by an educator from the Teachers on the Public Lands program.
Its the perfect way to social distance with your family and discover history in Wyoming.
