19th Century Flyfishing Originals

Seasonal volunteer Lance Thorup created and packaged 6 hand-tied flies from the 19th century for sale here benefiting the National Historic Trails Center Foundation.  They are very reasonably priced and will make an excellent father's day gift!  Come get them while they last!
Until the end of the 19th century, every fly was hand-tied utilizing natural fibers, such as silk and wool threads. Pioneers traveling west found Rocky Mountain rivers teeming with trout, and fly fishing made it's way into the history of the migration.
