Welcome 2018!!

From Our Executive Director

Dear Friends:

Welcome to a new year with great news from the National Historic Trails Center Foundation!

The Foundation wishes Aubrey Valdez "happy trails" as she embarks upon a new career in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  She will me missed by all of us here at the Center.

In our second year with no entrance fee, we welcome everyone to stop in and tour this amazing place today!  There are many exciting things happening for 2018.  We will be rolling out interactive tablets at the end of March.  Students and visitors will engage in a game choosing a trail and a year to journey west and experience history through good times and bad.  PBS of Wyoming will debut a new Tom Manning documentary on the Bozeman Trail this year, and as always the board and staff will continue to ensure the facility stays world class giving all visitors an experience they won't forget.

There is always something fun and hands-on happening here at the Trails Center, so come up and experience the growth of our nation.

Best wishes,
Carrie O. Reece
Executive Director

  Pioneer Barbie Clothing
Carolyn Thorup is a seasonal volunteer here at the National Historic Trails Center. She has lovingly made dresses, petticoats, skirts, blouses, and bonnets for Barbie to sell as a mini-fundraiser for the Trails Center Foundation. These outfits are exquisite in details and authentic in design. If you have a Barbie in need of a new pioneer outfit, please come check these out. Each is one of a kind. We're asking for a $20 donation per outfit--all proceeds benefit the Center.
